Michelada

Take a frozen pint glass, wipe the rim with a fresh lime and dip it in Tajin Clasico Seasoning. Fill the glass half way up with ice.

Pour equal amounts of clamato and Modelo beer into the glass until 1 cm short if the top. Very gently stir with a bar spoon, Finally float a splash of tequila on top.

Now throw it down the pan and get on with breakfast. It is a nauseating concoction, an abomination in a glass and a sin against Tepoztēcatl though many disagree. Just don’t tell the banditos. They may get personal.

Serve with a big bowl of ‘Taca Crisps’ if you persist.

A Chelada is a greatly simplified version being light Mexican beer with the juice of a couple of fresh limes, served in a frozen glass rimmed with coarse salt. Quite refreshing it is too and most suitable as a morning thirst-quencher.
